APWIN by Audio Precision, Inc. is a Windows-based application used to control and automate Audio Precision’s classic System Two audio analyzers. It provides a unified interface for signal generation and analysis, enabling engineers and production teams to run standardized audio measurements, automate test sequences, and document results.

Key capabilities include:

• Comprehensive measurements such as level, frequency response, THD+N, IMD, noise, crosstalk, and FFT-based spectral analysis, with support for sweeps.
• Signal generation tools (for example, sine, swept sine, multitone, and noise) with precise control over levels and routing.
• Automation via AP Basic scripting, pass/fail limit testing, sequences, and batch execution for production workflows.
• Data handling with real-time plots, result tables, data export, and report generation.
• Hardware control for System Two analyzers, including analog paths and optional digital I/O, filters, and weighting.

APWIN is considered legacy software and is primarily used with installed System Two and System Two Cascade analyzers. For newer APx Series instruments, Audio Precision recommends the APx500 software.

APWIN is developed by Audio Precision, Inc.. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 2.2 beta and 2.2. The names of program executable files are APWin-2.exe, Apwin.exe.
